With the release regarding iOS 4.3, Apple introduced the capability to remove any application mid-download on the iPod feel. Along with previous releases of the iOS running system, you would have to wait until the application had finished downloading to delete the application. Now, instead regarding having to wait, you may interrupt the download process and delete the application for a few simple taps.

Instructions
1 Tap and hold the download improvement icon until the icon starts to wiggle.
2 Tap the "X" in the upper remaining-hand corner of the download progress icon.
Tips & Warnings
This is only possible with iOS 4.3. To update your iPod touch to iOS 4.3, link the device to any computer, launch the iTunes application and follow the onscreen directions to update the iPod.
