3a,16b-Dihydroxyandrostenone is an unusual steroid found in the urinary excretion of a subject having a virilizing malignant adrenocortical tumor; apparent 21-steroid hydroxylase deficiency is discussed at the light of these results and of the hormonogenesis enzymatic induction of the tumour biopsy.
