Description
Cholecystokinins precursor (CCK) [Contains: Cholecystokinin 70(CCK70); Cholecystokinin 8 (CCK8); Cholecystokinin 7 (CCK7)].
Source Organism
Gallus gallus (Chicken).
Taxomomy
Eukaryota; Metazoa; Chordata; Craniata; Vertebrata; Euteleostomi;Archosauria; Dinosauria; Saurischia; Theropoda; Coelurosauria; Aves;Neognathae; Galliformes; Phasianidae; Phasianinae; Gallus.
Subcellular Localization
Secreted.
Developmental Stage
Similarity
Belongs to the gastrin/cholecystokinin family.
Post translational Modification
The precursor is cleaved by enzymes to produce a number of active cholecystokinins.
