My name is Sarabjot Singh Pabla and I am a students of M.Sc bioinformatics at G.H.Patel Post graduate Department of Computer Science and Technology, Sardar Patel University, Gujarat. When I first read about this open source collaboration I was a bit shaky to e a part of this. But after reading a lot about this new venture I thought this  to be a good start for all the bioinformatics students of India. Even talks with Dr. GPS Raghava made me understand the real crux of starting this kind of work.

As I am still a student, I don't have up to the mark knowledge of drug discovery. I have however, designed a software which is a wireless application. Prolyzer is an application designed to calculate various physio-chemical properties of a protein sequence. It acquires input protein sequence(through GPRS connectivity) from GENBANK database via the Genbank Identification number (gi number).

My name is Sarabjot Singh Pabla and I am a student of M.Sc bioinformatics at G.H.Patel Post graduate Department of Computer Science and Technology, Sardar Patel University, Gujarat. When I first read about this open source collaboration I was a bit shaky to be a part of this.

The purpose of discussing this application here is to bring together like minded student friends who can come together and explore this dimension of mobile applications with me and fellow authors of this tool. Together we can develop tools that can help us to carry our dry lab with us in our pockets.

Hope to get a reply from interested people.
