Surface Characteristics

Its O-LPS consists of a tetrasaccharide repeating unit α-L-Rhap-(1-->2)-α-L-Rhap(1-->3)- . This tetrasaccharide is polymerized and joined by β-1,2 linkages between N-acetyl-D-glucosamine and L-rhamnosyl to form the O-polysaccharide chain.
